1. Purpose

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all transactions, enrollments, and services offered by SKILL VEDA PVT. LTD. under its registered brand Maxopp. By making any payment or application, you agree to the terms outlined herein.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all educational programs, events, workshops, consultations, or any service delivered via online or offline channels.

3. General Refund Policy

All payments made to SKILL VEDA PVT. LTD. are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of reason or mode of payment, including but not limited to:

  • Non-attendance or withdrawal
  • Personal or professional conflicts
  • Change of mind
  • Delays in documentation or eligibility confirmation

4. Cancellation by Student

Cancellations requested by the student after fee payment shall not result in any refund. Once payment is made, the seat is booked and resources are allocated, and no cancellation or refund request shall be entertained.

5. Cancellation by the Company (Exceptional Cases)

In the rare event that the Company cancels a course, workshop, or program due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., minimum batch size not met, operational changes, or force majeure), affected participants will be offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • Transfer to a future batch or equivalent program

This shall be at the sole discretion of the Company and communicated accordingly.

6. Installment Plans & Partial Payments

Partial payments, advances, and installment-based payments are also governed by this policy. Refund requests for partial amounts will not be accepted under any circumstances.

7. Nature of Services

7.1 All services provided are custom-configured, non-tangible, and often involve time-bound access to intellectual property, live instruction, or proprietary materials.

7.2 A course or program shall be deemed started once:

  • The first scheduled live session has commenced, or
  • The student has been granted access to digital content or platforms

After this point, no refund or cancellation shall be processed.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By making payment, you expressly waive any right to raise chargebacks, disputes, or reverse transactions with your bank or payment provider. Doing so will be considered a breach of this policy and may lead to legal action for recovery, including penalties.

9. Legal Basis for Non-Refundability

As per Rule 3(1) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, educational and customized digital services are exempt from mandatory refund periods or “cooling-off” rights. This policy is fully compliant with Indian law.

10. Severability

If any provision of this policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable under law, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
